Drawing in the Dark (work in progress)

Some stories just need to be told. This one takes place in a basement. A teenager takes a piece of burnt wood and starts drawing a dog when the power is cut. They keep drawing with searching lines describing the scene while an indeterminate number of people crouch in fear, a baby cries, and drones come and blast the building down around them. Salvation comes by way of the dog. Too bad things don’t always work out that way.
